Also managed a 79 herd beef cattle enterprise. Was responsible for labour management and maintenance of infrastructure at the institution. Liaised with government departments in programs like the command agriculture and was responsible for marketing all the produce at the farm to best advantage.

Growing and managing crops for my section which included 90 ha tobacco, 40 ha wheat, 40 ha peas, 50 ha seed maize, 10 ha popcorn, 100 ha commercial maize,and 40 ha Soya beans. Was responsible for the labour management on my section with a workforce of 220 workers. Was also responsible for maintaining tractors (13), implements and machinery for my section. Reported directly to the General Farm Manager. Marketed produce for my section. Was responsible for the overall security of the whole estate overseeing the operations of the 64 guards that ensured that loss or damage to property was kept at bay on the 1934 ha estate.
