I have three years working on the Agusta Bell AB412, a turboshaft powered helicopter. I have carried out Line Maintenance including before-flight, turn-round and after-flight inspections and aircraft refueling. I have also carried out Base Maintenance including carrying out scheduled periodic aircraft servicing. During scheduled services I have carried out tasks such as: removal and replacement of engine oil and fuel filter assemblies , removal, cleaning, functionality test and installation of engine fuel spray nozzles, removal, cleaning, inspection and installation of spark ignitor plugs, removal and replacement of P3 air filters, removal, cleaning, inspection and refitment of air cooled oil coolers, etc. I have also carried out engine changes, which involves: engine preservation, inspecting engine sling to establish its condition of serviceability, removal of engine cowlings and firewall seals, disconnecting engine controls and fuel hoses from engine, removal of engine mounts, lifting engine from the airframe, engine blanking and preparing engine log cards. I have also carried outperfomance recovery compressor wash and engine power adjustments which include Ng topping, adjusting Nf and torque matching.
